Shiloh is pleased
to announce the addition of Ken Dowdy to our staff team!
After serving as a medical corpsman in the Army during the Vietnam era, Ken graduated from Harding University and went on to teach for a few years at York College. He then spent nearly twenty years in medical-related sales, during which time he ranked in the top 1% of production for one of America's largest pharmaceutical firms and was an Achieving Marketer of the Year for the nation's premier physician staffing company.
Meanwhile, Ken remained active in church life through teaching, worship leading, mentoring, missions, and ministry development. In 1999 he became engaged in full-time work as an associate minister. A unique combination of sales and marketing skills plus experience in church leadership brought him to the work of church relations with World Vision, one of the world's largest humanitarian organizations.
This past spring, the need for Shiloh to advance to a new level drew him to this work and he joined our staff team full time as Director of Advancement in October 2009.
Ken is married to Beverly Choate Dowdy and is the father of two sons, Chris, 28, married to Lauren Mitchell Dowdy, and Trevor, 24.
