ShilohNYC is partnering with Bayou City Relief for Spring Break 2018.

This Fall Shiloh's young adult community heard about the devastation in Houston, TX and wanted to know what a group from the Bronx could do to serve and share hope with Houston.

A Shiloh Alumna in Houston connected us to Bayou City Relief, who provided clean up and demo of hundreds of homes all across Houston in September and October after Hurricane Harvey, helping people take the initial steps to getting back in their homes. The effort is now transitioning to two communities that were most impacted and have the most significant economic need. In these communities, it will be challenging for people to get back into their homes apart from the assistance from non-profit organizations and churches.

ShilohNYC's young adults in our Higher Def program are raising money for their plane tickets and food to travel to Houston over their college Spring Break to help Bayou City Relief with rebuilding projects in the Cypress area of Houston. Bayou City Relief is providing housing.

All donations are tax deductible. Checks can be made payable to "Shiloh" and mailed to PO Box 95, New York, NY 10075
